From BUSBY to BUZZY BEE Making History runs in Cate and Mikes family.

Our great grandfather, James busby, etched his name into New Zealand’s history as mediator in the signing of our nations founding document – the Treaty of Waitangi. What the history books don’t talk about, is the passion for the East Coast unspoilt land that has been passed down through the generations. Pauariki honey bees continue to thrive off the land that has been cared for over seven generations.

As proud East Coast locals it was a natural progression for our family to end up creating honey that celebrates the untouched beauty of our special, untouched region. The business has steadily grown, with hives all over, Gisborne and the East Coast, and our passion has grown with it.
